Quick Overview
The Learning Partnership, in partnership with Scotiabank®,  is launching the The Ultimate Dream Job Contest on August 16th, 2010. This national online photo contest runs from August 16th to October 17th for Canadian students starting grade 9.
A chance to earn grade 11 or grade 12 credits while traveling abroad.
Summer science camp in July. Register by June 4th! Free to students entering grades nine or ten. Casting, crime scene investigation, DNA analysis, etc.
3 wk course, earn a grade 12 credit in Marine and Environmental Science + get a scuba certification/upgrade. Available in July and August.

Envision EMI is an International Education Organization with 60,000 from 50 countries participating annually.  On July 2 - 5 in Toronto, Envision hosts the National Young Leaders Conference.  NYLC is a unique leadership development program for 7th - 11th grade students.

Waterloo Unlimited is a unique enrichment opportunity for high school students in grades 10 through 12. Offered during the school year, Unlimited brings together curious, motivated, well-rounded teens from across the country.

For gifted and talented young women entering grades 8-12
International Student Exchange - Ontario is a registered not-for-profit corporation offering Ontario students a variety of reciprocal exchange programs in Europe and in Quebec.
The conference encompasses a wide variety of sessions for both curricular and co-curricular programs, with sessions geared towards high school and elementary school teachers. The Women's Sport School will increase your knowledge in several areas of school sport, expose you to new/unconventional sports and teaching methods, and provide opportunities for discussion groups with peers.
Travel is FREE; costs are covered by the Department of Canadian Heritage
Groups of students aged 12 - 17
2 weeks - 1 week in each community
Homestay - students and teachers are billeted with their selected twin
Fits any curriculum area – second language, geography, leadership, history, science, music, sports teams, volunteering
Equally accessible to all - financial assistance is available to those who need it and all academic levels are encouraged to participate
Exchanges can at occur at any time during the year, typically from February to June

Spend a week with Encounters with Canada - Canada's largest youth forum! Every week of the school year, 120 to138 teens from across Canada (ages 14-17) come to Ottawa, where they discover their country through each other, learn about Canadian institutions, meet famous and accomplished Canadians, explore exciting career options, develop their civic leadership skills and live an extraordinary bilingual experience. Over 84,000 youth have lived the EWC experience, so far!
Youth International: Experiential learning & volunteering adventures. Students, ages 18 to 25 on gap year between high school and University, or during University, travel with team of 14 for 3 months in Asia (Thailand, India, Vietnam) or South America (Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands). Toronto based. Started in 1997.
